Bastion One — The Deterministic Control Plane for AI Agents

The Agentic Enterprise 2026: Speed vs. Control

42% of enterprises are now in production with agentic AI. The pilot phase is officially over. Mayfield Fund’s 2026 CXO Survey dropped some massive insights, and it’s a wake-up call for anyone still treating AI as a chatbot problem. We are in the era of autonomous operations — but the survey reveals a dangerous paradox.

Speed: 72% of the F2000 are deploying agents into real workflows. Control: 60% of those same organizations report having no formal AI governance framework. As Mayfield’s research points out, the number-one blocker isn’t the model — it’s data readiness and interoperability. An agent that can’t post a GL transaction safely or process a refund reliably is just a productivity tool, not a digital worker.

Closing the CXO chokepoint

At Bastion One, we built our Traceability & Control System (AITS/AICS) to solve exactly what this survey highlights. We provide the proof-and-fence layer that lets enterprises scale without the stochastic risk.

  • The meter (active traceability). 84% of CXOs prioritize security and compliance above all. Our Lineage Tags (LTs) turn raw agent actions into auditable work anchored directly to your SAP/Oracle ledger.
  • The fences (active governance). 58% of CXOs are blocked by data quality. We provide the observe-decide-act loop — a deterministic “hard stop” — that quarantines failing agents in real time before they touch the system of record (SOR).
  • The predictability ladder. With 91% of CXOs increasing budgets, we help you move from seat-based licenses to outcome-based monetization by proving the accuracy of every agentic transaction.

The bottom line

As Tsvi Gal (CTO, MSK) says in the report, “AI becomes a flywheel, not a feature.” But a flywheel without a governor is a liability. Are you building for the art of the possible, or the audit of the actual?
